My dad keeps his medical alert pendant on a little hook by the door, but he always forgets to put it on. Last week, he fell in the garden and had to yell for the neighbor. Now, I got him one of the newer ones that looks like a smartwatch, and it automatically detects falls. He actually wears it because it tells him his step count, too.
