After looking at different options for our patio, we went with a custom aluminum pergola. It fits the space perfectly, and the powder-coated finish should hold up well against the weather. The adjustable louvers are great for controlling sunlight, and the whole thing really ties the backyard together. Installation took a couple of days, but it was worth it.
